Project Spotlight: The Kendrick, Needham MA
The Kendrick is a brand new luxury apartment complex in Needham, Massachusetts. Its unique amenities set this community apart from other apartments in the region. The outdoor biergarten, three-story fitness center with rock climbing wall, library, and pet spa are just a few of the unique offerings. Of course, the residents’ favorite amenity is the large resort style pool.
The property managers wanted to create a space for their residents to swim and relax in the sun safely, without compromising the view with a bulky metal or wood fence. A semi-frameless glass windscreen was the natural choice. We installed our AWS Aluminum Windscreen system around the entire pool, for a total of 250 linear feet.
The AWS Aluminum Windscreen is one of our strongest and most durable glass fence systems. It is built tough to withstand the harsh New England winters and can endure extreme temperature changes. It provides an excellent wind barrier in addition to safeguarding the pool area.
The windscreen was paired with four Commercial Aluminum Gates, complete with self-closing hinges and latches to meet local pool code requirements. The property managers selected a bronze powder coat finish for the hardware, to match the modern wood cabanas surrounding the pool.
