Project Spotlight: David Grutman’s Glass Fence, Featuring “The Groot”
Born and raised in Florida, David Grutman has become a major influence on the Miami nightlife scene. Owner of a wide variety of restaurants and night clubs, Grutman is known as one of today’s leading hospitality icons. His beautiful home in Miami is the perfect expression of his larger than life personality. Known to entertain guests, host events, and lead business meetings, his home is well known for its welcoming and fun demeanor.
Located in the waterways of Miami’s Sunset Islands, this home wouldn’t be the same without “The Groot”. This beloved boat is a huge attraction for his friends and family. David and his wife Isabela have two beautiful children together. The birth of their children raised concerns for safety as their backyard not only borders Miami’s waterways, it also houses a resort style swimming pool.
To conserve the beautiful views that Miami has to offer, we provided him with our fully frameless glass fencing system. This glass fence perfectly lines the entire backyard, almost invisible to the naked eye. We paired it with our frameless glass gate for easy access to the boat, engineered to be self-closing and self-latching for added security.
As an avid art collector, Grutman is keen for style and design. His vision was to preserve the aesthetic of his backyard in addition to making it safe for his family and friends. We fulfilled his request with our custom designed frameless glass fence, in addition to adding a modern touch to his stunning property.
